I believe having The Creaking being the only lethal mob in the biome would be amazing. What I think would add so much more fun and more horror to it as well is if it also did a bit more damage. With this, something like a new Castle, Cathedral or even just an old Victorian structure hidden within. High risk and high reward. Making it so we feel there's more of a reason to want to return, rather than taking down a single tree, and using it's saplings at our base and never returning. Also giving a great way to use cherry blossom wood in a structure!
And honestly, I could see people taking the risk and living in these and decorating them to their liking!
