New potion with the Creaking heart resin

To get the Creaking heart resin, we could make a cut in the block with a axe, to let go his resin and catch it with a empty jar. After, we can make the potion and the effect would be reduce the duration of negative effects. Only reduce the negative effect to those effects achieved between the time lapse of the potion's effect (Creaking heart resin potion). Or be able to reverse it to increase the duration of positive effects.

  Or a simpler idea, the potion could simply reduce the duration of current negative effects when it is splashed. As you said it could be reversed to increase positive effects, but what if it reduced positive effects. So say your opponent splashes fire resistance, you could splash reversed resin potion to lower the duration of their potions. Or a alternative, say the potion increases negative effects and increases positives or vice versa. 

  This would add a new element to PVP albeit a complicated one.
