Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

I also have a few suggestions to add to the whole "Winter Drop" topic:

The new biome could be Pine Woods. Pine Trees could have a plank color that is the chest color, so that we'd have a wood type matching the chest wood color (that wood color is pretty, but we lack it in the game).

The new features of pine trees: Instead of saplings, the leaves drop Pine Cones.
You can either plant the pine cones like a sapling, or you can put the cone in a crafting grid to extract pine nuts.
These pine nuts can then be combined in a crafting grid with sweet berries, in the same recipe as the cookie recipe, except instead of cocoa beans, you have sweet berries, and instead of wheat, you have pine nuts, to create Sweet Berry Pine Muffins.
I'd also suggest combining the cone with any material used in trims to create "glitter cones", which are purely decorative blocks.

    Reindeer:
This could be a new mob that spawns in the Pine Woods. The reindeer occasionally drops it's antlers, (in real life, reindeer drop their antlers every year for them to regrow naturally). These antlers could then be combined with a helmet for decoration. And if that helmet is combined with an armor trim, you're getting not just the trim on the helmet, but also a garland in the antlers.
Another feature of the reindeer could be that they pull sleds. These sleds can be combined with two double chests for transportation. And the player can sit on the sleds to direct them.
