It would be interesting if, instead of the mob simply disappearing when the block that acts as its heart is broken, it could be damaged at that moment. This would add an extra layer of difficulty, as The Creaking is invulnerable while it retains its heart, but upon losing it, the player would have the opportunity to face it directly.
Additionally, it would be optimal if, when losing its heart, the mob could show visible damage states, similar to the Iron Golem. This would make the battle more dynamic. To balance this new mechanic, its health should increase so that it isn't defeated with a single hit, and it should also be able to deal more damage to the player.
Lastly, an additional suggestion to increase the challenge would be that when The Creaking loses its heart, it gains the ability to bury itself and reappear in front of the player to attack. This would add a touch of terror, keeping attention and tension high throughout the encounter. The mob could have a cooldown time between each time it buries itself to prevent it from becoming too overwhelming, but still maintain the suspense.
