Creaking hearts are interesting blocks. They have use in both mini games and decoration. However, with them not being renewable, this could make it a significant pain to get them - since that would require tearing up a Pale Gardens biome, or multiple of those biomes, to obtain a significant amount.
Making them generate in player grown trees is a possible solution. However, this could pose a problem to tree farms in two ways. 1) Creeking hearts are not movable by pistons, which are used in tree farm designs. 2) A player might find themselves killed by a Creeking after an AFK session at such farm.
Solution: make it so when a player grows a Pale Oaks in a Pale Garden, they can generate with a creeking heart. This would also give players a reason to revisit a Pale Garden that they have found in their world, similar to how breeze spawners cause players to return to Trial Chambers.
