Creaking eyes (giving the creaking a use)

Right now the creaking doesn't drop anything but I have a really good idea so you would like to go to the pale forest even if you play on single player. The creaking should drop 1-2 creaking eyes when killed and with these eyes you can craft an item that you put on your head and start seeing black and white. The only thing you don't see in black and white is ores that will glow in the same colour as the creaking eyes. This idea would make sense and would also be really useful
