Creaking causes torches to burn out

If the creaking’s presence caused torches to flicker and burn out, the sudden darkness would cause an extra amount of suspense

    It should be limited to a certain distance around the creaking. Prehaps a 32 to 48 blocks from a creaking.

    Maybe any time a Creaking deals damage to a player, torches within 10 blocks are broken?

    I think it would be great if fire/lava could harm The Creaking puppet, which is why is goes after torches! Imagine players encountering the biome for the first time and being afraid that their torches keep disappearing when they come back lol

    This would be a good way to implement unlit torches and lanterns besides being an intresting water/light emiting block dynamic. Also crafting unlit torches and lanterns by just using sticks, giving us the option to light them with flint and steel instead of coal.

    As long as the torches aren't broken but instead go off then back on when the creaking is no longer present, I think this is a great idea

    The addition of resin could be used as a crafting ingredient to readily make torches immune to this effect too

    YES!!! Just make the torches go out, not break, and when the Creaking moves away, they come back on. AWESOMEST IDEA IN THE WHOLE WORLD!

    Maybe a function where you use a water bottle on a torch to put it out too?
