When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Creaking Heart Redstone Component - The Creaking Observer

The creaking heart should be able to craft a new redstone component called the creaking observer, which releases a redstone pulse based on whether its being looked at. Simply put, if any player is looking at it from within 32 blocks, it will activate with a strength of 15.

Similar to sculk sensors, there is also a calibrated creaking observer. It can detect players looking at it from within 64 blocks, and the strength of the redstone pulse is based on how far the player is. By inputting a comparator signal into it, it will ONLY detect that range or lower.

    I think it would be ideal if you could take a comparator output from it that would give a higher signal strength the closer to it the player looks, I don't think you would need to have it calibratable because it wouldn't need the trigger cooldown the skulk sensor uses.

    I was just about to suggest this too I think that this could act like the skulk sensor to allow for some very creative redstone contraptions
