Sea-fire / Mareld

If you haven't seen it yourself, just google image search for "mareld" (it was incredibly difficult to find for me when searching for "sea-fire"), and you'll see one of the most beautiful wonders of this world. Pretty much it is just bioluminescent algae(.. and I could've googled that instead, I just realised).

I guess it would be difficult to implement a life-like equivalent of this in Minecraft, but that is beside the point. Imagine water with small particles swirling around in it that you can place to light up your pond, or use it in "pipes" or whatever to choose to build. That also spreads a few blocks when you place it in regular water.
