Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

New Chests and Shields

Currently there's only one type of chest: An oak chest. They should add spruce chests, birch chests, jungle chests, and chests made of all the other types of wood. All the wooden items in Minecraft have different variants that you make out of all the wood types. Except chests, trapped chests, and minecarts with chests.

Now for new shields. Currently you can make a shield from 6 planks and 1 iron ingot, but what if you can make:

Wooden Shield (Already in the game)

Stone Shields

Iron Shields

Gold Shields

Diamond Shields

Netherite Shields

All of these can be made the same as the original shield, but with different materials, and all with one iron ingot at the top.
