Minecraft is a sandbox game about caves and people are begging for more variety in food; this could be a solution that fits Minecraft's, theme, environment, and satisfies its players.
Currently, it is impossible to put milk in a cauldron, changing that opens up a wide range of possibilities. Starting with the most obvious, this could allow for bottled milk with splash and lingering variants. This would make it possible to throw milk at another player or mob and remove its potion effects, expanding the existing combat system. Milk is also the key to unlocking cheese, by placing a milk cauldron in a dimly lit area (like a cave just like in real life) and allowing it to age, one can obtain a block of cheese. This ties into the caving aspect of the game quite nicely. Cheese can then be used to craft a variety of new food options, if tomatoes are added you can use them with cheese and bread to make pizza, add noodles and it can all make lasagna (I bet the orange colored cats would be extremely drawn to it). Ultimately, upgrading milk would add souch more to the game than most people realize, the community would love this.
