Currently, if you mine a custom block with silk touch, it will always drop itself, even if it has a loot-table attached to it. This makes sense most of the time, since vanilla ores and foliage do the same. However, having the option to override silk touch would be helpful, mainly when creating custom blocks that are an item when in an inventory (e.g. iron bars).
