Level.dat HARDCORE cheating (read this if you love HC)

Recently I died in my Hardcore world. I could however, recover the whole world like it never happend by tweaking the level.dat file with an NBT-editor. As much as I am happy that I recovered my world, I think this shouldn’t be in the game because now it has lost value for me. Someone could do all that work in creative and just change it to HC. Also, I understand that world saves are local files so it would be hard to make it uneditable by the owner but maybe Mojang can come up with something so that HC world are really HC with no way to cheat. What’s the point of HC if you can cheat anyway?
