Adding a new tag to change/replace/give armor with smitthing templates with only commands(/give, /data, /item, /loot, more?), for example:
"/give @s diamond_chestplate[minecraft:smithing_template={Type:"Silence_Armor_Trip",Material:"amehyst_shard",CustomSmithingTemplateName="'Custom Name'", CustomData:""}] 1"
This will give a diamond chestplate with Silence Armor Trip made of an Amethyst Shard maybe you could change the smithing template name, if you upgrade the diamond armor with netherite upgrade, i'll give you a netherite armor. This will be useful for custom bosses with armors with Smithing Templates!
This command changes all entities leggings to a iron leggings with Wild Armor Trip made of gold:
/item replace entity @e armor.legs with minecraft:iron_leggings[minecraft:smithing_template={Type:"Wild_Armor_Trip",Material:"Gold_Ingot"}]
This one change the container 15 of all entities named "Boss "with gold boots with bold armor trip named "legendary armor trip" made of netherite:
/item replace entity @e[name="Boss"] container.15 with minecraft:gold_boots[minecraft:smithing_template={Type:"Bolt_Armor_Trip",Material:"Netherite",CustonSmithingTemplateName:"'Legendary Armor Trip!'"}]
Maybe you can change data of armor in inventory, action bar, in armor with data comand or item, also i think that change armor trip name is not very useful, and change "custom_data" of a armor trip is rare?
I made this because i need this to make a boss and look it very cool, i didn't see the data that change armor trip of things and i didn't find a video about to make a command that changes armor trip.
Thanks Mojang if they read this, if i am wrong or the command exist please say, thanks. :)
