Emerald golems would be made by placing a carved pumpkin on top of an emerald block. It would resemble a plank golem from Minecraft Legends, but it would be green and have no arrows in its head.
It would just stand there most of the time, though it would walk toward players holding emeralds.
Emerald golems would be kind of like prize machines from other video games. To interact with it, you must put an emerald in its head. It will then play some sort of sound effect and spit out a reward. This reward would usually be a medium level item (like iron ingots or an armor trim), though it would have a low chance of being low level (like a wooden sword or furnace) and a low chance of being high level (such as a netherite sword or enchanted golden apple).
Emerald golems would be a fun addition to Minecraft, because, while we know that the loot you get from chests and other things like that is randomized, it doesn't really feel like we're taking a chance. With the emerald golem, though, it would be all about risk and reward! (and they're way easier to get than finding a trial chamber, as vaults feel kind of random.)
