Meat Pie (4 hunger points & 1.6 saturation points)
-Crafted with 1 cooked meat (beef, mutton, or pork), 1 onion, 1 baked potato, 1 carrot, 2 wheat (yields 8 items)
-Gives Haste I effect for 1 minute 30 seconds
Sweetberry Pie (4 hunger points & 3.6 saturation points)
-Crafted with 1 egg, 1 sugar, and 3 sweet berries (yields 2 items)
-Gives Speed I effect for 30 seconds

With my proposed revamp, food will become more exciting and varied, with certain items being specialized for different in-game situations. For example, the new veggie pie and meat pie will give the player a short haste effect that will be useful for mining. These food items cannot be eaten with a full hunger bar and their effects will not stack. These aren’t game breaking changes, and they won’t interfere with potions, but they will make different food items slightly more interesting and incentivize players to use more types of food for their special uses.
