Better Minecarts and Rails

Minecarts should be able to be linked together by chain or some other mechanism. (maybe slime?) By placing a furnace Minecart in front you could effectively make a train. Furthermore, rail placement should be made more convenient by allowing paths to intersect. (Like how a turn is made with an "L" shape, a rail could also become "T" or "X" shaped depending on how surrounding rails are placed.) I believe this would make a nice little addition to the game that could open up many possibilities to all players.
