Projectile Blocking, and a Mini Map option for Minecraft Dungeons

This concept is located in Minecraft Dungeons. After I introduced it to my dad, he started laying it more and more. We love it! We play it on our Nintendo switch almost everyday, and I have been thinking of some concepts that would be really neat to see in game. This one is being able to Block Projectiles right before they hit you, like deflecting a fireball from a ghast in Minecraft! However, this might be useless for people who have thorns and deflect maxed out on their 172 armor, but would all people with other combos to still be able to block! You could still roll out of the way, but being able to block them would act as a parry, and it would go on cooldown just like dashing. It would deflect and projectiles coming your way for 1.5 seconds. This will also keep you from moving while you are parrying. this was hard for me to think of which button, because all of them are used for something, except for the arrows! (besides the map) now that I'm typing about it, a mini map would be very helpful to! the transparent map in the middle of the screen often makes me lose my focus, and the only way for one to come up is to hold the down arrow. So please for the love of god, add a mini map!

    That is so nice that you can play Minecraft Dungeons with your dad! (My dad's too busy to play, even though he introduced me to Minecraft in the first place.) I think that this is a great mechanic to add, maybe you can use your melee weapon to block an arrow/projectile quickly, with a three second cooldown, and it should disable all other movement and attack functions while blocking. Also the minimap is a great idea, wished for that myself before as well. Very creative ideas, and although they did say that they won't update Dungeons anymore, it may still come with the next Seasonal Adventure. Yay for Fauna Fair! Good luck on this idea, and again I think that it is very creative!
