Self-explanatory from the title.
I understand it's just a game and we get floating cobble and the like. However, floating leaf blocks have layers of "this shouldn't be" in my opinion. Floating cobble(i.e) is a necessary evil - they have mods around this already, anyway (see TerrafirmaCraft).
Leaves. When you chop down a tree, it falls. I get not having the entire tree fall from removing the bottom block - again, some people build with logs. Also, breaking the leaves by hand is not a "challenge" to overcome, per say, it's just a grindy annoyance that I'm certain most players would agree on - games are supposed to be enjoyed, not "ugh, I gotta break all this now because magic floaty leaves." Just make the leaves break when the last log is removed, that's all, really.
Having the leaves come down with the tree is about as far away from OP as anything else in vanilla MC - it wouldn't be some outrageous game-breaker by any stretch of the imagination. Sand and gravel fall, and rightly so - leaves should be no different when their support structure is removed.
