Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Wind-Charged TNT

Specialized TNT has been a thing in mods for a long time. With the addition of wind charges, it may be time to bring powered-up TNT to vanilla minecraft. By adding wind charges to the crafting recipe for TNT, the player could craft “Wind-Charged TNT”. Instead of destroying or harming things, it could push or pull blocks similar to how a piston would, with variables like strength and direction being controlled by the player when they set up the blast. This would give players a completely new way to interact with the world.

    “Fire-Charged TNT” that lights things on fire would be an obvious thing to package with this. Introducing these new TNT variants may give a good reason to finally add the long awaited renewable sand to the game as well.

    Alternatively I can imagine a whole TNT customization system similar to rocket customization. By adding different amounts of “charges” or gunpowder, the player could craft TNT with extremely precise blast effects.
