Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Nether Star Dust (For Super Bright Lights)

According to astrophysics, star dust is the most fundamental crafting ingredient of all. In Minecraft, the stars that exist are nether stars. These could be crafted into nether star dust, which could function as an even more powerful form of glowstone dust, allowing the player to craft a precious light source bright enough to light an area the size of a beacon’s range.

    It could also have an added bonus of being used in brewing potions, to increase the duration of their effect twice as long as glowstone would. In general I think rare “super powered” versions of common materials would be a cool concept.
