Wet Meadows would be a sub biome to the normal Meadows. They're a wetter Meadows usually next to lakes or swamps. The life in this biome is very different than ones of the Meadows. The plants and animals are different with only a few crossings both biomes. to keep it simple I wrote each plant and animal in a list with its main feature.
Plants
Willow Trees - A new tree that is larger than an Oak Tree. They can only be found here in Wet Meadows. The wood is a Limesh green and can be crafted into other things like other woods.
Cardinal Flower - A 2-block tall plant the Cardinal Flower only lives here. When harvested it can be crafted into red dye or be placed back on any dirt or grass blocks.
New England Aster - A 2-block tall plant that lives in a lot of biomes. You can find it in Grasslands and Savannas, but they grow a lot more in the Wet Meadows. When harvested it can be crafted into magenta dye or be placed back on any dirt or grass blocks.
Cloudberries - The cloudberry is a type of berry plant like the Sweet Berries. The main difference is if you walk in it, you will slow down but not take damage because it has no thorns. When harvested it will give you 1 - 5 berries. When eaten it will give you 2 hunger points. You can also plant the berries and farm them but they're a bit slower than plants like Sweet Berries.
Animal
Great Gray Owl - Great Gray Owl spawns only in the Wet Meadows and will fly around. When someone gives the owl meat it will help attack that specific mob.
