Smelting enchantment for pickaxes

I’ve seen many variations for this, but I have an idea on how to make a smelting enchantment for pickaxes more balanced. First of all, my idea is for an enchantment for pickaxes which will auto smelt any ore you mine such as iron, gold, or copper. (I probably missed a few ores) now this is a great idea for many reasons, however this might be a little too overpowered, so I have a solution to make it more balanced. There will be 5 Maximum enchantment levels for this enchantment. Each enchantment level will have a 16% chance for the ore to be smelted/cooked. This gives us an 80% chance at max level.

    Another good way to balance it would be to make it not compatible with Silk Touch or Fortune, and make it so you lose an additional amount of durability every time you mine an ore
