I felt the main drawback for Minecraft Live last year was that there was barely any time where Lydia actually interviewed Agnes in real life, to talk about the features of the update. Instead, it was simply done in a pre-recorded video of them in Minecraft. I feel it is way more interesting when the developers go through each feature one by one, talking about them in real life, as it makes the whole event seem more human, and close - as we are all there as a community, with the developers talking about what their passionate about!
So, all I propose is that it is done in the same way as it has been in previous years. I totally understand the fact that they don't want to show all the features when they aren't ready, because of stress and community disappointment, and that is completely reasonable! But, that doesn't mean they can't go through the features they are going to show in the way they previously did.
