The only category specifically for combat regards an old snapshot and its specific features, so I decided to post this here as I didn't know where else to post it. I know Jeb wanted to rework the combat mechanics (though he must've gotten busy with handling other things), so I'm gonna suggest something.
Suggestions
It would be better if all axe types dealt 2 more damage than swords of the same type, just like how diamond and netherite axes are compared to the sword of the same type. This change slightly balances out a potential new enchantment for the axe on lower tier axes,
This enchantment bypasses the opponent's armor protection by 8% per level. It goes up to level 3, meaning an axe with the max level of this enchantment can bypass 24% of armour worn by mobs or players.
I would share more of my ideas, however I can't put more than one idea in one post. This enchantment might be a little overpowered with the current combat mechanics, but if axes are nerfed when combat is finally focused on again, this enchantment could help balance it out.
