Something I think would be an interesting idea is to allow shulker boxes to have 2 different colors. This would open up the possibility of using different colors within the same block in builds where the shulker shell pattern might make a good pattern, as well as being useful for organization to some extent.
To implement this, make it so that the shulker shells are dyable. Then, the color of each shulker shell would determine the color of that half of the shulker box. (E.g. the color of the bottom shell in the recipe dictates the appearance of the part of the shulker box attached to the block the box was placed on, while the color of the top shell in the recipe dictates the appearance of the part that opens). This functionality may be implemented in a similar manner to how different pottery sherds determine the appearance of different sides of a decorated pot.
A secondary idea is to be able to use a cauldron full of water to clean dye off of the shulker box. Thoughts?
