When crafting with the crafting table, you are able to see all the possible things you can craft, when you have the ingredients in your inventory. the new villager updates will benefit greatly from a button that tells you all the possible options you can get from leveling up a villager.
The current available trades will be clearly clickable, but the possible trades you can get from level ups, are grey and are unlocked when leveling up the villager. it doesn't have to be exact, the trades unlocked can be random, but at least tell us what we can unlock after a level up. This way we can focus on a villager that we want, instead of having to look it up or guess until we get the right one.
The past had us looking up "how to craft an enchanting table." Now we can just look in-game at the recipe. I don't want to look up "which villager gives me sharpness books" or whatever. This 100% should be in the game. All possible trades should be visible to the player, before leveling up the villager.
