This idea just popped up while I was decorating an interior.
I rarely use the chiselled bookshelf, because except if you fill them with books of a single kind, it is very hard to distinguish the items in the shelf, and I would much rather use a barrel to store books, because it has 27 slots instead of nine. Shulker boxes can be dyed, and chests can store shulker boxes anyways, so why not give the chiselled bookshelf a new functionality of storing nine shulker boxes?
This has multiple benefits: the chiselled bookshelf itself would get used more, I don't think many players are using it as a storage method, at least I haven't used it as such, and neither have any of my friends; but the biggest advantage this has is that it makes handling shulker boxes so much more efficient. As of right now, the player has to open a chest or barrel, then take out the shulker box, then place it down and open it to access the items. If they could be stored in chiselled bookshelves, the player could store the boxes with one click, and take them with another. Storage for bigger projects could be cleaned up, right now, they always end up creating a huge mess of shulker boxes being placed everywhere.
