Stick & tool variations

Instead of the plain single color stick we all know, what if each type of wood had its own type of stick. These sticks could be made into their own type of ladder and even swap out the connecting pieces of fence posts, or the post that a sign is placed on. Another use is these unique sticks could provide different handles for tools/weapons (ex: a cherry wood handle on a golden axe, would look cool). Either this could just be cosmetic or for instance nether woods like crimson and warped could pose total burn resistance or partial (breaking the tool but returning a percentage of the materials based off durability and other factors I can’t think of at the moment). This could be OP but I think mojang can figure something out. But another use for these stick variations could be different wood types on bows, arrows, fishing rods, and anything else that uses sticks. SUMMARY: Each type of wood=type of stick Different stick=different tool handle + bow, arrow, fishing rod Different stick=different ladders and fence struts Different stick=different sign post Different stick=fire resistant, full or partial (nether wood only) Over all this would bring a new level of customization to the game and stop that “best sword” being exactly identical to your friends. Adding new vibes to a play through and more immersing a player in their environment.
