-Buckler Shields IRL are round, but we can't have that in Minecraft, so we'll make it an octagon rather than a rectangle. The Buckler is designed to be a shield for more combat-focused players. It is useful for attacking and can be used as a melee weapon. Speed is not reduced while blocking. It can melee while blocking. This is called a shield bash.
It can be given most sword enchantments.
-Hurlguard Shields look similar to bucklers but are more aerodynamic. Unlike a normal shield, they can be thrown by holding Block and Punching. The Shield will be thrown at a speed similar to a Trident. When blocking, it will only protect against Projectiles, and if a PLAYER can right-click the shield as it's in mid-air, they can steal it and use it for themselves. They must capture it with an empty offhand.
It can be given Fire Aspect, Loyalty, Bouncing (When thrown, will bounce off blocks and mobs. 5 levels, 1 block per level.), and Copycat (By blocking a projectile, it can modify its behavior to act like that projectile. 1 level. Can only copy one projectile at a time. Potion effects apply. One throw only.)
Alternate name: Disc Buckler.
Crafting: Place an iron ingot in the center, four planks around it, and depending on the shield type, place four iron nuggets/ feathers in the corner.
Other enchantments: Both can be given Mending, Knockback, and Unbreaking.
