Players can pass through the Deep Dark Portal Frame by activating it with a new item, the portal deactivates if a player passes through.
It sends you to a different seed Overworld and removes all your items. You spawn at spawn. If you die, you appear back at the portal frame with your items in-tact and the parallel world you were just in is deleted.
In the parallel world, the End Portals are broken by Sculk and there are random patches of Sculk everywhere, even in the Nether.
Newly generated Shriekers can summon Wardens and Wardens place Catalysts when they die rather than drop them.
Ancient Cities have a new Ancient Vault that can be filled in the parallel world and unlocked in the main world with a Trial Key. It will only eject items you've stored, not any other player's.
Going through an ancient city portal in the parallel world will bring you back to the city you entered and reset your inventory to what it was before.
To deal with servers:
While you're in the parallel world your XP bar turns into a Sculk bar that drains over time from however much XP you had upon entering. Once it runs out, you're kicked out of the world. It can be replenished by collecting XP. It can still be used for enchanting. The less XP you have, the more transparent you become.
Once any player reaches 0 XP, all players including ones logged out are kicked from the world and the world is deleted.
