so, it is weird to think that a fist (1 damage) makes you take 20.8% of the damage with netherite armour, which means u take 97 hits to die, instead of 100 (96 for diamond). I think that the protection reduction should not start until the attacks get stronger
Idea: with no armour toughness, the protection reduction starts at 7 damage. every armour toughness increases that number by 0.5, so with netherite armour, the protection reduction starts at 13. for diamond, 11. Other than that, the armour toughness works the same, Except, i believe iron armour should have 1 armour toughness per piece. i believe that because once u get above 6 dmg the iron armour barely protects you. So i would like every piece of iron armour to give 1 armour toughness (1/2 of diamond armours armour toughness). This could be added in 1.22 or by the end of 1.21. I would like this added to both editions.
