How can we improve the existing moving creatures of Minecraft? Show us your coolest fantasy creatures. Bosses in Biomes!

I'm thinking about new bosses in existing biomes. It would be cool if in a mangrove biome there was a new boss you could summon called the Bog, a tree like mob sort of like an Ent from lord of the rings. Or a mummy (a dead body covered in wraps, not a mummy like your mother) in the desert or badlands. With unique characteristics (and loot) it will add a fun twist to our fun video game

    It would also be very cool if they spawned on their own, and had unique abilities. I know someone has probaly mentioned something like this, but I will be better if they were in strongholds like they have their own castle/base. It will also give something to do if there's nothing left after the ender dragon is defeated. The bosses can also have special animations sort of like other basic mobs. Edit - I feel like this is such an underrated idea.
