Boat Update

So there are shipwrecks in minecraft, yet it doesn't make sense. As the only "boat" in minecraft is the two seating one.. So I was thinking of a boat update! There can be new recipes for "boat blocks", oars, and a pirate ship wheel for steering larger boats. Then players would be able to build bases on these boat blocks, as players could place chests, blocks, redstone, etc. on them. Masts could be introduced though definitely not needed. This could definitely segway larger water/ocean exploring updates and different structures!
