Face it, the world hardly ever generates up to layer 320. We need something up there.
Floating peaks look like normal mountains until you realize that the higher ones are floating, only connected using bridges.
A common structure found here is the floating fortress, which contains multiple breeze spawners to make sure you fall off the peaks and to your doom.
Ores that spawn more the higher you go are VERY abundant here, so if you need an emerald beacon, this is where to go.
This biome has a different variant of trees called Windy Woods. It also has Windy Villages.
A common phenomenon that occurs here is....... you guessed it, wind. It can sometimes be strong enough to push you around, so be careful!
Some related items are wind turbines (output a redstone signal when receiving wind), wind fans (push you in different directions), and bounce pads (slime blocks but better).
Phantoms naturally spawn up here.
