Mirrors could be a quintessential block to add to the game. In addition to doing the obvious of reflecting images in front of them, they could have the functionality of redirecting and strengthening light sources to project light levels to other areas. Perhaps by manipulating the amount of light sources, the number of mirror blocks, and the distance, players could control light levels in a broad area, providing a dynamic alternative to what could normally only be solved by adding glow lichen or hidden lights under carpet blocks.
