Mending and fireworks with elytra are too strong

Elytras, right now, break so quickly without any enchants and the phantom membranes are so hard to get for how often they break, making them unpractical without mending, but extremly strong with mending Elytras are really fun to use by gliding without fireworks, but them being so cheap, strong and without any major disadvantage makes using anything else useless My suggestion is to make mending unable to be placed on an elytra, but losing durability only when fireworks are used, not when gliding This would give a reason to using other methods of transportation, without ruining elytras(only making elytras not be able to fly extremly fast without a high price). This would also give you a reward for being more skilled with the elytra To stop tridents from just replacing fireworks, durability could be lost, along with if a firework was used, if the elytra is activated and a trident was used to launch you(which resets if you touch the ground) or if a trident is used to launch you while gliding
