We all know about job site blocks, but what about a block that lets you start a shop?
Trading site blocks are easy to craft and place. When wandering, villagers may stop at the block and emit blue particles. They then offer up to three trades (called deals) that may be different from their profession. These deals depend on the blocks in a 5x5 range, so having a beacon nearby will cause an ore-related deal, and having furnaces nearby will cause you to gain smelting/cooking-related deals.
Another block is the shelf, capable of storing up to five items. Deals also depend on which items are placed on nearby shelves. Shelves can also be used to build tables.
Deals give you xp while also improving your reputation. Nitwits can also offer deals, while employed villagers offer better deals. Baby villagers may attempt to buy/ sell food or flowers, making them even cuter. Village iron golems may randomly try to buy/ sell a poppy. So all villagers can offer deals, including wandering traders, who offer the best deals. Finally, you can just buy a lead/ saddle, and even horse armor.
The more trading blocks there are in a village, the more wandering traders are likely to spawn, and the more likely you are to get discounts.
A variant of this block is the Piglin trading station. This makes them neutral, and they may offer barter-related deals.
