It used to be a bit tricky to defeat a pillager patrol as the captain gives player 'Bad Omen'. But now player can kill them without a risk, and it gives free ominous bottles. I think the challenge of pillager patrol is missed in this change.
I do like the 'Raid Omen' timer as the player can avoid an unnecessary raid, or as it gives enough time to send villagers to protection. But now since the player intentionally drink 'Ominous bottle' to start a raid 30s cooldown doesn't make sense.
I have a suggestion.
- Non-raid captains give 'Raid Omen' which triggers a Raid after 30s timer.
- 'Ominous Bottles' are dropped by captains in the Raid.
- Ominous bottles give player 'Trial Omen' effect.
In addition I'd like 'Ominous Bottle' to be a splash potion to get the effect to a group of players.
