Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Echo Shards

Echo shards are pretty much useless, especially for hardcore players. However, it is such a could item that seems to be going to waste. I think it would be cool to see it get a use, for example a new type of armor, used as a material for Armor Trims, or a new block/mineral used for Beacons. 

Regardless of how it would be used, it would be nice to see such a cool-looking item get some sort of value in the future.
