I suggest a large expansion to the lighting system by improving froglights. This would allow for more creative building while still being balanced. It will allow you to dye froglights, but not before bleaching (whitening) them.
The first addition would be bleaching (whitening) froglights. To bleach a froglight you would leave it underwater and similar to copper it would age, slowly turning whiter. You could do this process with any of the current froglight colours and there would be variations between fully and not at all bleached froglights. However only fully bleached froglights can be dyed.
Once a froglight is bleached, similar to most coloured blocks it could be dyed. These blocks would allow for more variation in lighting. This would be an amazing addition for cyberpunk builders such as myself but also the general community.
Those were all the ideas I've had for now, however if I think of anything more or you suggest any good ideas, I will add it to this.
