Main Idea:
Suppose you are being punished by an experienced axe player, if you end up losing the shield guard for 5 seconds, even if you manage to counterattack, there is a chance of taking a lot of damage. That's where the idea of the shield add-on comes in. An item that, when combined with the shield through the crafting table, generates a KnockBack effect once it gets disarmed for the first time. Once it fulfills its function, the shield will return to its original state.
The crafting of the complement I don't think that it should be so expensive, however the materials needed should be demanding doing things that don't involve a great risk to the player. I consider that it should be 2 horns and an aditional item between them, like iron.
Aditional Concept:
Considering that it will only be used one time and probably be used to buy time during a fight, I suggest that the complement should able be tipped by potions the same way that arrows get tipped.
