Request to Continue Providing PDB Files in Future BDS Versions

Dear Mojang Studios,
 
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing on behalf of many in the Bedrock Dedicated Server community to express our concern regarding the removal of PDB files in the latest preview version (1.21.10). Historically, PDB files have been crucial for debugging and maintaining plugins loader that enhance the BDS experience. Their absence in future releases could have severe negative impacts on our community.
 
PDB files provide essential debugging information that allows developers to create and maintain plugins loader effectively. Without these files, updating and ensuring plugin compatibility with new BDS versions becomes exceedingly difficult, potentially leading to a decline in available custom plugins and tools.
 
A lot of bedrock servers rely on a wide range of plugins to offer unique experiences and manage server operations. The lack of PDB files hinders the ability to debug and update these plugins loader, which could result in server closures and negatively affect the player community.
 
While we understand the security concerns that may have led to this decision, we believe alternative measures can address these issues without compromising development needs.
 
We urge the BDS development team to reconsider the removal of PDB files. Maintaining these files is vital for the continued health and growth of the BDS community. We hope to finding a solution that addresses security while supporting development.

    If they wanna do it by bedrock they should do it by Java too, but they won't do it, cause they know it would basically kill the game. So both versions should have the same treatment.

    The decision to remove PDB files in the latest version has significant controversy, Im very opposed to this decision.The removal of these files will severely impact the modding community, anticheat systems on public servers, and overall creativity within Minecraft
    Modding has always been a cornerstone of the Minecraft community, allowing players to customize and enhance their gaming experience. Removing PDB files makes modding nearly impossible, stripping players of the tools they need to create and share innovations. Creating mods becomes very challenging, if not impossible.This decision stifles the creative contributions of the community, which have played a vital role in keeping the game vibrant and engaging.
    Another critical concern is the impact on anti-cheat systems used in public servers. These systems often rely on PDB files to function correctly
    The removal of PDB files in the latest version of Minecraft:Bedrock Edition NEEDS reconsideration. The negative impact on the modding community, anti-cheat systems, and overall creativity within the game cannot be overstated. As a passionate member of the Minecraft, I urge developers to recognize the value these files bring to the game and to reconsider their removal. Preserving the ability to mod the game is essential for maintaining the vibrant, creative, and fair environment that has made Minecraft the beloved game it is today.

    PDB对于Minecraft基岩版（中国大陆的叫法）来说十分重要，我们需mod，而不是来自我们买了游戏之后又要在内置商店里买那些没有任何意思的东西。要知道之前已经有游戏因为游戏本体付费又要付费购买游戏内其他内容而死掉了。
    如果微软你知道想赚钱你可以让Minecraft回到几年前的价格！而不是让玩家无尽的在游戏内置商店里买东西。Minecraft已经是付费游戏了你应该开放mod！！！

    Look 👀 I see that u want to make us pay for mods in your marketplace, we know it's about money 🤑💰. Pls don't take away our freedom with modding, it makes the game 1,000 * more enjoyable and more interesting. So don't be taking out that simple pleasure, why can't you just find something else to get more money like maybe add a java and bedrock cross platform server/realm that you could pay for, just make it a little bit more then realms. This would give Minecraft java and bedrock a way to play with each other for a small price, but overtime build you enough revenue too. Or!!! You could just make the marketplace more appealing to crafters and give them a reason to buy it instead of just killing all forms of competition. Also I hear that having more competition sets us all up for better stuff, for instance, Microsoft makes a lot of good mods or we make a lot of good mods, then the other side improves their mods or coding or whatever to make it better. I'm not a modder but, even I know that there are more ways to "fry a fish" 🐟 So don't ruin our Minecraft modding community, it's already been suffering enough.

    Mojang, no offense but if you get rid of this a good chunk of the bedrock community will absolutely boycott and stop playing minecraft if you do this and bedrock is a pretty large chunk of the minecraft community and doing this would definitely not benefit the game
