-Versatility: Can store 2 tools, giving it the abilities of both tools. Durability is used from both tools, and certain enchantments are also distributed.
Staves store 5 tools.
-Defence(Via Shields): Deploys a shield that surrounds the user for 30 seconds. This protects the user from all attacks but also prevents the user from attacking.
Staves allow more control along with durability.
-Phasing(Via vex tears- use a bottle on them): Gives you slow flight and lets you pass through objects. Lasts for 30 seconds.
Staves allow more control along with durability.
-Fangs: Lets you use the evoker's fang attack.
Staves give more range.
-Rays(Via amethyst): Shoots a weak but continuous beam of energy that can break a few blocks.
Staves give more range and durability.
-Telekinesis(Via End Rods): Lets you levitate any block, allowing you to throw it (one-block-at-a-time style) or drop it as an item. Works on mobs and even bedrock—one-time use.
Staves have durability.
-Overturning: Turns you upside down.
Staves are ranged.
-Transformation: One of the best. Useless when crafted. Right-click on a mob when close to turn the totem into a totem of <mob> transformation. Totems have 100 durability and lose one point per second.
Blowing up as a creeper causes you to detransform and lose some health.
Staves regenerate durability when not in use.
-Light: Illuminates the area around the user.
Staves give more range.
