The blue moon is an event where the moon will appear bigger and the night will have a blue hue. During this night all hostile mobs will become weaker with their attack damage being changed by -2 and their speed being changed by -1. The chances of good villager trades will increase by 5 and the chances of finding emerald will double. But one con is that the night will be shorter.
