improving Gold Armor

What if gold armor was stronger than iron? It gives the player the incentive to wear gold armor without destroying/undermining Iron armor. If a player stumbles upon gold armor from loot in a chest, it'll incentivize wearing it. However, the player will also keep his iron armor in his inventory to replace the gold armor when it breaks due to its low durability.

This feature incentivizes wearing gold armor but doesn't destroy the incentivizes for obtaining and wearing iron armor. It creates a great balance of players alternating between gold and iron armor, giving gold armor more uses without undermining iron armor.
