Dying before loading the nether/overworld

I play bedrock edition and my device isnt terrible but sometimes it can be slow and when that happens and i try to go through the nether portal, i would usually die before even loading the terrain. This scenario is more frequent when it comes to the 1st time i generate the nether. I suggest to add invincibilty during the "building terrain" sequence.
