A tribute to my late dog

I recently lost my dog. He was my best friend and really want to immortalise him in minecraft. My idea was either a tribute via the splash text on the title screen; this would always pop up on the day that he died. Or a name tag easter egg like the toast rabbit easter egg. I appreciate your time and would really appreciate if you could help me out. Thank you
