I’ve seen this issue spoken about a lot recently on Reddit as well as some posts here. To me, as well as a lot of the community it’s a pressing matter. I personally spent a pretty penny on several Add-Ons in the marketplace, as well as subscribing to Realms. Upon doing so I realized that the Add-Ons disabled achievements, which isn’t particularly my issue as well as some others. I personally don’t mind not having the ability to earn achievements, what is rather frustrating however, is the fact that there is no dictation whatsoever for whether a world with Add-Ons has used cheats or creative mode. What is the point of spending hours on a survival world collecting resources, building, and progressing if there’s nothing to show that it was done on survival? It feels like a waste of time, for all anyone knows, cares, or even assumes, the world could very well have had creative features or cheats used… so why spend hours on end playing “survival” with nothing to show for it. This alone has made me enjoy this game significantly less, to the point where I won’t play it until something is done to fix the issue. Achievements are of no true concern to anyone who enjoys the game, just add some sort of feature that displays that a world was done purely in survival, or if need be, survival with mods, otherwise Add-Ons just seem like a massive waste of time and money.
