If problem is that there are not enough inventory slots and the stack size is small, and we can't reasonably change that, then the only real solution is to simply remove it, make the inventory conditionally infinite.
Generalized explanation: At player's base, there is a transport beacon that creates storage, which is limited by the number of chests under the beacon. Players have a transport backpack that allows them to send items to the storage from anywhere in the world, but players cannot retrieve them back. To get the items from the storage, players need to return to the base, come to transport beacon, and open the beacon chest. Backpack is tied to the specific beacon as it is done with the compass
1. Transportation Beacon. In its radius combines all the chests into one shared storage that can be accessed through a single chest wich allows players to create "infinite" storage, so they still have to craft a lot of chests to expand storage, but this just completely removes the need of tedious organization. Its recipe must be complex and expensive to be a real challenge to obtain
2. Transport backpack. Work like a special chestplate that takes up a chestplate slot. It creates ability to remotely move items to the beacon storage. Moving of items from the inventory to the storage should be one-way, so player can move items to the storage from any part of the map, but to get these items back, player needs to open the beacon chest.
I wish y’all luck and a peaceful sky!
